LINKS at HIGHLANDS RANCH GOLF CLUB (303-470-9292)
Colorado Golf Course Review
The Links at Highland Ranch is the sister course to the championship layout at Highlands Ranch Golf Club (about 15 minutes east) and provides golfers of all skill levels with an
opportunity to hone their game. The terrain is mildly rolling and features scattered willow trees and pines, along with scraggly faced (with native grasses) sand bunkers.
There are 4 sets of tees on this executive style course, that range in distance and slope from 4824 yards/103 slope, 4317 yards/101 slope, 3824 yards/93 slope and 3362
yards/93 slope. Twenty four sand bunkers are located near the landing zones or are positioned to the sides of the greens, and water hazards come into play on 5 holes.
The green complexes are approachable, with open fronts and mildly undulating putting surfaces. Overall, this is a very user friendly experience, ideal for those wishing to work on
their irons and short game, but with opportunities to use the driver several times as well. Beginners and high handicappers will be able to enjoy a comfortable round here, while
experienced players will find enough trouble to keep it interesting.
Also an advantage - the course plays rather fast... good for those that don't have time for a 4-1/2 hour round. On property is a small pro shop, snack area and patio serving
breakfast and lunch items, plus complete practice facility with grass range, short game area with sand bunker, and putting green.
